This is the story of Sam. Sam is a Primary School student who is currently in a year 5/6 class.

The issue – The school had notified the team that there were a lot of issues with children being mean in the playground. This was upsetting some of the children and had started to cause some mental health issues among students.

What happened next? – Mind Blank ran several workshops at the School. When conducting a gossiping in the playground scenario the children quickly identified that gossiping can lead to bullying,which could lead to kids getting depressed.

Making positive choices outcome – Sam reached out to the program facilitator soon after the program ended and shared “I'm one of the gossips and now that I know that it hurts people I'm going to stop.”
