About the organisers: Albury Wodonga Mental Health Forum (AYMHF) steering committee is made up of several Youth Services Provider Networks, which includes representatives from such local organisations as Albury Rural City Council, Community Health, North East Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, and both local secondary schools.
Albury Wodonga Mental Health Forum has been using a model that has been running over the past few years in the Albury-Wodonga area.
The aim of the forum is to build young people’s knowledge, skills and confidence to support the mental health and wellbeing of themselves, their friends, school community and family
Audience: Approximately, 120 student between ages of 13-16 (yrs 9 and 10). Approx 5 kids per school. School staff (teachers, wellbeing and adolescent nurse) will be providing support for students throughout the day and assist with facilitation of “Take It Back Session” in the afternoon.
