Mind Blank is growing rapidly with existing projects in the Brisbane region and surrounding areas. To support our rapid growth we are looking for the following roles:
😁talented emerging artists to play roles with age range 20-30 years old
👌experienced program facilitators who have worked in a youth arts and health context
This is a casual engagement with flexible and varied hours, although the availability to work fortnightly is essential.
Creative Team Members have the following key responsibilities:-
💥Collaborate to design and create different programs
💥Perform highly engaging, professional programs
💥Assist in handling performance enquiries after a show
💥Attend all rehearsals, training and wellness programs
💥Self-evaluate effectiveness against your job description and make improvements
💥Other team related tasks on an as needed basis in lines with project needs
Our ideal candidate has:-
🤩Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating or performing
🤩Ability to engage, inspire and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums
🤩Exceptional communication skills
🤩Strong organisational skills
🤩Ability and desire to take on a variety of events related tasks
🤩High personal and professional standards to which they hold themselves accountable
🤩Resilience and the ability to handle unexpected changes
Essential selection criteria
⚡You must hold a valid and current Working with Children Check
⚡You are over the age of 18
⚡You have your own ABN
⚡You hold your own industry insurance
⚡You must have relevant qualification/s or experience in the arts, education or health sector
⚡Willingness to travel locally or interstate for events
⚡Values driven attitude and passion to make a positive impact in the community
Note: Young Actors will be mentored through the process if this is an interested career pathway of interest 🙌
Desirable selection criteria
Below are some creative characteristics that are desirable qualities we are searching for:
🎉You have experience with forum and/or applied theatre practices
🎉You are a trained forum theatre joker
🎉If you like comedy and see yourself as a humors performer
🎉Knowledge and understanding of youth mental health issues, including lived experience.
